*SOLD* I knew this one wouldn’t last long…

Looking for a cruiser that’s something a little different? Here it is! This 2009 Triumph Speedmaster presents some serious quality at a great price (we’ll get to that later).

Based on the tried-and-true first-generation modern Bonneville engine, the Speedmaster represents something different in the Triumph lineup. It has a low-slung frame and forward-slung footpegs, giving it that classic cruiser stance. The parallel twin engine is smooth and torquey, with a nice exhaust note. Add in dual front disc brakes, and you’ve got some serious stopping power as well!

It may look like a carburetor, but it’s a fuel injection throttle body. Really!

One of the nicest features on this bike is the fuel injection setup. The crafty folks at Keihin took their CVK carburetors and very creatively turned them into fuel injectors. The result is smooth power delivery, easy starting, and great fuel mileage. And you’ll constantly be telling folks that the bike is actually fuel injected. A great talking point!

The 865cc engine is a hybrid air/oil-cooled design, and over the years it has become known for its reliability along with the bulletproof 5-speed transmission. Shifting is a breeze and the clutch is effortless. There’s plenty of torque on tap, and when you rev this bike over 5000 rpm it really shows what it has to offer.

There are plenty of accessories on this bike, including a windscreen, highway bars and footpegs, backrest, luggage rack and genuine Triumph saddlebags. It really does come nicely optioned.

Take all of this and add in the fact it has just under 6,000 miles. And I haven’t even gotten to the price yet. We were asking only $3,495 (plus TT&L) for a really nice example of British steel.
